    COOPERATIVE LEARNING USING TEAM GAME TOURNAMENT METHOD TO IMPROVE STUDENTS LEARNING PARTICIPATION AND COMPREHENSION

    ABSTRACTThis study aims to know the best practice cooperative learning method, that suitable for economics and business mathematics course learning in Muhammadiyah Malang University. The specific goals of this study are: (1) Improving students of class 1-D in Management Department of Muhammadiyah Malang University’s learning participation in sequence and series subject matter using cooperative learning with Teams Games Tournament (TGT) method in the odd semester of 2017/2018, and also (2) Improving Improving students of class D in Management Department of Muhammadiyah Malang University's comprehension about sequence and series subject matter using cooperative learning with Teams Games Tournament (TGT) method in the odd semester of 2017/2018. The results of this study show that learning activities using Teams Games Tournament (TGT) method has been proven can improve student's learning participation and comprehension in sequence and series subject matter of economics and business mathematics course.Keywords: Cooperative learning, Team Games Tournament, Economics and Business Mathematic

    The aim of this research are to understanding and analyzing the effect of value drivers variables(sale growth, operation profit, fixed asset investment, work capital investment, and capital cost) onshareholder value in the company with hedging strategy in foreign currency derivative. Result ofresearch indicates that: value drivers actually are expected to increase the shareholder value incompany with hedging strategy in foreign currency derivative; value drivers actually may increasethe shareholder value in company with hedging strategy in foreign currency derivative, capital costcannot improve shareholder value in company with hedging strategy in foreign currency derivative;and sale growth is the strongest factor to increase shareholder value in company with hedging strategyin foreign currency derivative

    The community service program proposed by the devotees will be carried out at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Malang. The process of situation analysis and identification of problems with service partners was carried out on March 3, 2021. Based on the situation analysis process, the service found that entrepreneurship subject activities at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Malang still need to be readjusted related to business details that must be built when setting up a business. Because of this need, we as a servant answer this by providing assistance with entrepreneurship learning methods with the canvas business model method. The purpose of the implementation of this service program is to provide knowledge and improve the skills of teachers in creating new businesses which will later be applied in entrepreneurship subjects at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Malang. In this service, the servant will provide assistance to teachers in using the Business Model Canvas method. Through this service program, it is hoped that entrepreneurship subject teachers can apply it during the teaching and learning process. &nbsp
